Police arrested Jeremy C Hockenberry, age 31, of Newville at 0825 hrs after he was stopped for a traffic violation and found to be in possession of and smoking marijuana while driving. Hockenberry was transported to the Carlisle Regional Med Center for a blood draw and then to booking center for processing on charges of DUI, Driving under DUI suspension, Possession of Marijuana and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
Police charged Stewart H. Porter III, age 39, of Carlisle after investigation of a harassment incident. Police report that they were dispatched to the 3700 block of Spring Road and met with the victim who reported that she had been receiving repeated phone calls and voice messages from Porter after informing him to stop contacting her, telling the victim that he would burn her home down. A criminal complaint was filed at DJ Fegleys’ office charging Porter with Terroristic Threats, Harassment and Disorderly Conduct.
Police arrested STEWART H. VANKEUREN on 1245 Harrisburg Pike after police received a call for an assault of a 6 yr old child. Police reported that VANKEUREN allegedly slapped a 6 yr old child and threw child to the ground while visibly intoxicated. VANKEUREN was taken into custody at the scene by police and made verbal threats to shoot police with a .357 magnum in the face. He was taken to Carlisle Hospital for examination where he continued to yell obscenities and make threats to police, hospital and EMS Staff. VANKEUREN was then transported from the hospital to the prison where he made another threat to police, telling them that “an AR15 should take you out!” VANKEUREN was charged with Simple Assault, Public Drunkeness, Disorderly Conduct, Harassment, Terroristic Threats and Endangering the Welfare of a Child. He was remanded to the county prison in lieu of $99,000.00 bail.
January 1, 2017 1229 Hrs, Police arrested TYON SAMARTENEY HARRIS of Hanover, Pa after he was pulled over for traffic violations found to be driving without a license. HARRIS gave a false name and date of birth to officers for ID which was later discovered by police. Harris was taken to the county prison and charged with two counts of Providing False ID to police and Driving without a license. He was remanded to the prison in lieu of $99,000.00 bail. Detainers were also filed against Harris for active warrants out of York County.
