Police charged Patrick V. Martin, DOB: 12-31-1992 of Gettysburg after he was reported to be walking down the middle of Bernheisel Bridge Rd. Police report that they received a call of two males walking down the middle of Bernheisel Bridge Rd. Police arrived in the area and found Martin along the side of the road reaching for something inside his coat. He observed the officer and took off running into the brush while still reaching inside his coat. The officer pursued Martin and instructed him to stop and show his hands which he failed to do. The officer deployed their taser at which time he was taken into custody. Martin was found to be highly intoxicated and while being transported to the booking center, spit all over the rear inside of the patrol car. He was charged with Institutional Vandalism, Public Drunkeness, Disorderly Conduct and Resisting arrest.
Police charged two males after responding to a reported fight call at the Rodeway Inn. Police advised that they received a call for a possible fight at the motel and upon arrival, found Timothy S. Grimm, DOB: 1-11-1988 of Mt. Holly Springs and Gerald G. Hoffman, DOB: 9-3-1983, of Carlisle had gone into the motel and pounded on a room door. The occupant of the room opened the door and was “jumped” by Grimm and Hoffman. Police located both in the parking lot and found them to be visibly intoxicated. Both were charged with Public Drunkeness and transported to the county booking center.
Police arrested Steven Marshall, DOB: 3-9-67 of Carlisle after he was observed loitering around a township motel and looking into parked cars. Police on patrol observed Marshall at the Rodeway Inn on the Harrisburg and upon approaching him were advised that Marshall was staying in a room at the motel with a family member. Further follow up by police found this to be untrue and that he had illegally entered a locked motel room. He was transported to the booking center where he was charged with Criminal Trespass, Theft of Services and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
Police arrested Latacha M. Sokol , DOB: 12-4-80 of “B” Street in Carlisle after she stopped on the Harrisburg Pike for a traffic violation on the Harrisburg Pike. Upon stopping Sokol, it was discovered that she was driving on a suspended license and in possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia. She was transported to the county booking center and charged with Driving Under Suspension, Possession of a controlled substance and Possession of drug paraphernalia.
